IMPACT on The 36th Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exposition (EVS36)

14/06/2023

The 36th Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exposition (EVS36) Conference and Exhibition is taking place in Sacramento. During a session dedicated to hydrogen-related topics, Bartek Kras delivered a presentation titled “Cost-efficient high power battery for Hybrid Power Pack designed for Fuel Cell powered heavy duty vehicles”.

During his speech, Bartek conducted an analysis of various fuel cell (FC) and battery combinations in terms of total cost of ownership (TCO). The current high TCO for the FC system is expected to decrease over the next 10 years. To achieve this, it is necessary to focus on improving the efficiency of hydrogen fuel utilization in terms of its production, distribution, and storage, as well as creating a fuel cell system with a minimal number of start/stop cycles to reduce its degradation.

Throughout the four-day event, we were available at the Polish pavilion organized by Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). We would like to thank Grzegorz Gałczyński for the invitation and collaboration and our colleagues from the Management Board and engineering Filip JankunArtur JagusiewiczMichał RodowskiBartłomiej Mazan for preparing the material for the presentation.
