The support is aimed at businesses planning to implement energy storage technologies to enhance energy efficiency, improve the stability of the national power grid, and integrate renewable energy sources (RES) with the energy system.
The program offers various forms of financing, including grants and loans, with maximum funding levels as follows:
- Up to 45% of eligible costs for large enterprises,
- Up to 55% for medium-sized enterprises,
- Up to 65% for small businesses.
Investments under this program aim to strengthen the country’s energy security, develop storage infrastructure, and accelerate the energy transition in line with EU goals for CO₂ emissions reduction and increased RES share.
Energy for Rural Areas Program – Support for Farmers and Local Enterprises
The “Energy for Rural Areas” program supports the development of renewable energy sources (RES) in rural and rural-urban areas, offering funding for the construction of photovoltaic, wind, agricultural biogas plants, hydroelectric power plants, and energy storage systems integrated with newly built energy sources.
The program’s goal is to increase energy independence for farmers and local businesses and improve energy efficiency. With financial support, participants can reduce energy costs, become less dependent on electricity price fluctuations, and strengthen the energy security of their farms and operations.
The program includes:
- Grants from 45% to 65% of eligible costs, depending on the type of investment and beneficiary,
- Loans up to 100% of eligible costs, allowing for full financing of the investment.
The program’s budget is PLN 1 billion, with applications accepted from February 3 to December 19, 2025, or until funds are exhausted.
